Job summary

Al-Futtaim is seeking a Collections Executive in the United Arab Emirates to maximize recovery of overdue receivables while maintaining ethical standards and compliance.

The role requires strong negotiation skills, experience with Collection Management Systems, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. You will work with Operations and other teams to resolve payment issues and provide regular reports to the Line Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in collections or similar role.
• Proficient in Collection Management Systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular follow-ups with past-due customers via calls and emails to ensure timely collection of overdue amounts.
• Maintain complete and accurate collection records by documenting all customer interactions in the Collection Management Log.
• Respond promptly and professionally to customer queries related to collections.
• Ensure timely and effective collection of overdue amounts through consistent follow-up to recover pending dues.
• Provide timely feedback and updates to the team regarding customer payment behaviour, history, and financial health.
• Ensure adherence to collection procedures, SOP, compliance standards, and ethical practices while protecting the organization's reputation.
• Handle timely escalation and transfer of accounts for legal action by completing required formalities and following up until resolution.
• Coordinate with Operations and other departments to resolve customer/payment issues affecting behavior.
• Negotiate repayment solutions with customers via calls, emails, and meetings to resolve pending dues.
• Submit periodic ad-hoc reports to the Line Manager.
