Job summary

The American University of Ras Al Khaimah (AURAK) is seeking a detail-oriented Financial Analyst in the Office of Finance to support budgeting, reporting, forecasting, and financial analysis. This role helps strengthen financial systems, reporting tools, and data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities include ensuring accurate financial information, developing dashboards, and supporting ERP finance processes.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
Professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, CPA, or CMA are desirable.
Minimum of 4 years of accounting, financial reporting and budgeting experience.

Responsibilities

Support accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and analysis.
Ensure accuracy and timely availability of financial information for management.
Develop and maintain financial dashboards, reports and analytics for decision-making.
Support ERP-enabled finance processes, including Oracle and Banner.
Contribute to process improvements and standardization of Finance processes.
Monitor financial data, identify discrepancies, and coordinate resolutions.
Assist with budgetary controls, expenditure monitoring, and forecasting.
Provide support for system changes, testing, and data validation.
