Job summary

ADNOC Group in Abu Dhabi seeks a seasoned Budget and Cost Control Specialist to drive budgeting, cost control and financial reporting for its Marketing, Supply and Trading operations.

The role requires 6+ years in budgeting and accounting within oil and gas, with strong SAP capabilities, and will involve collaboration with planning teams to consolidate budgets and monitor expenditures.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of experience in the oil and gas or petrochemical industry.
• Experience in marketing budgets, contracts, accounting and financial analysis.
• Very good knowledge of relevant accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and consolidate budgets for revenue, operating, manpower, logistics, marketing, supply and trading.
• Monitor expenditure against approved budgets and report variances.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
• Reconcile accruals, payments and general ledger.
• Follow SAP and other approved financial systems for documentation.
• Provide financial analysis to support planning and decision making.
