Job summary

Iqarus in Dubai seeks a Senior Bid Manager Writer to lead the bid management function across Government Services International and related lines. The role supports the Director of Capture, driving complex opportunities from qualification to award with strong written proposals and tailored value propositions.

The incumbent will coordinate cross-functional teams, influence stakeholders, and oversee bid quality while ensuring alignment with growth objectives and governance standards.

Qualifications

• This role requires at least a bachelor's degree and six years of bid and proposal leadership experience.
• Proven ability to develop tailored value propositions and win strategies for government and defence sectors.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple high-value bids simultaneously.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes and client engagement in complex sales.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage the bid management team through the full lifecycle of high-value bids.
• Develop bespoke solutions, value propositions, and win strategies aligned with client needs.
• Draft coherent narratives and ensure submissions are compliant, timely and competitive.
• Collaborate with operations, pricing, and SMEs to create viable, innovative proposals.
• Represent the organization in negotiations and maintain strong client-facing relationships.
