Job summary

GITS BUSINESS SOLUTIONS in Dubai is seeking an Accountant to manage and ensure accuracy of financial records, prepare reports, verify transactions, and advise on budget planning.

The ideal candidate will have GAAP knowledge, strong Excel skills, and experience with accounting software, with attention to detail and the ability to work independently.

This role supports month-end close and internal controls, contributing to financial health and strategic planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Proven experience as an accountant with strong GAAP knowledge.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational and multi-tasking abilities; strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Maintain precise financial statements and timely reporting to management.
• Conduct closings and reconciliations monthly, quarterly, and annually.
• Prepare and examine financial records for accuracy and legality.
• Oversee accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll operations.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company procedures.
• Provide financial advice to support decision-making and planning.
• Manage daily accounting department operations.
• Assist in developing and implementing new accounting processes.
• Analyze trends to recommend financial actions.
• Assist with tax audits and tax returns, ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Develop business processes and accounting policies to maintain internal controls.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes efficiently.
