Job summary

GMG in Dubai is seeking a finance professional to manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger and treasury activities under supervision. You will execute day-to-day tasks in line with GMG policies.

Responsibilities include month-end close, reconciliations, journal postings, audit support and process improvements, with focus on accuracy, compliance and timely reporting. Candidates should have 2–4 years in financial accounting and ERP experience (Microsoft Dynamics).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration.
• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration preferred.
• Experience with IFRS and accounting standards.
• Knowledge of accounting systems and software.
• Strong MS Excel and data reconciliation skills.

Responsibilities

• Petty Cash: review, validate and record claims; ensure accuracy of amounts and GL accounts.
• Month-End Closing: perform close activities and post adjustments as required.
• Accounting & Controls: ensure transactions follow policies and internal controls.
• Audit & Stakeholder Coordination: provide schedules, respond to inquiries and coordinate with teams.
• Process Improvement: identify opportunities to automate and standardize tasks.
