Job description

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Accounts Director to lead our accounting function and play a key role in financial strategy, compliance, and performance management. This role demands deep financial acumen, strategic thinking, and leadership capabilities to manage and guide our finance team while ensuring regulatory adherence and financial health.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the end-to-end accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations and standards.
  • Lead and mentor a team of accountants and finance professionals.
  • Manage audits, tax planning, and financial risk assessment.
  • Collaborate with senior management to support strategic decision-making with financial insights.
  • Maintain strong relationships with auditors, regulators, and banking partners.
  • Analyze financial performance and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master's degree or MBA is a plus).
  • CPA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent professional certification is required.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in finance and accounting, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within the financial services sector.
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations, compliance standards, and reporting frameworks (IFRS/GAAP).
  • Proven track record in team leadership, process improvement, and strategic financial planning.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
