Job summary

AECOM is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead stormwater infrastructure initiatives in Abu Dhabi, UAE. You will oversee planning, execution, and delivery, coordinating with engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure on-time, on-budget completion while upholding quality standards.

The role requires deep knowledge of stormwater systems, budget forecasting, and strong communication skills to manage multiple projects and comply with local regulations.

Qualifications

• Extensive project management experience in civil infrastructure or stormwater.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules and risks for complex projects.
• Strong stakeholder communication and reporting skills.
• Experience coordinating with engineers, contractors and government agencies.
• PM certification such as PMP or PRINCE2 is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end lifecycle of stormwater infrastructure projects in Abu Dhabi.
• Develop and monitor project plans, schedules and budgets; implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless execution.
• Manage budgets, track expenditures and enforce cost controls.
• Identify and mitigate project risks; develop contingency plans.
• Prepare detailed documentation, reports and specifications.
• Lead stakeholder meetings and provide progress updates to senior management and clients.
• Ensure compliance with UAE building codes, environmental regulations, and safety standards.
• Manage contracts and vendor relationships to optimize delivery and resources.
• Maintain quality assurance across all project phases.
