Job Purpose
The Aircraft Maintenance Storage & Logistics Manager oversees the storage, inventory management, and logistics of aircraft parts and maintenance materials to ensure timely availability and compliance with aviation standards. This role ensures efficient supply chain operations to support aircraft maintenance activities, reduce downtime, and maintain safety and regulatory compliance.
Key Result Responsibilities
- Manage and control inventory of aircraft parts, tools, and materials in storage facilities, ensuring accuracy, traceability, and adherence to aviation regulations.
- Plan, coordinate, and optimize the logistics for procurement, storage, and distribution of maintenance supplies, ensuring timely delivery to internal or external parties, via in-house distribution channels or external service providers.
- Liaise with contracted suppliers & vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure quality and timely availability of parts and materials.
- Ensure all storage and handling activities comply with regulatory requirements (GCAA and Hubs CAA’s) and company policies. Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits.

- Lead and develop a team responsible for stores operations, logistics planning, and inventory control.
- Identify opportunities to improve logistics processes, reduce costs, and enhance efficiency within the maintenance supply chain.
- Promote and enforce safety protocols within storage facilities and logistics operations.

- Provides direction, coaching and guidance to team members for their career and professional development.
- Creates a conducive working environment to build and sustain a performance driven, engaged, and committed team.
- Ensures people management responsibilities are handled effectively in line with company procedures.
Qualifications (Academic, Training, Languages)
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Aviation Maintenance, or related field preferred.
- Familiarity with maintenance management software (e.g., AMOS, TRAX).
- Strong knowledge of aviation regulatory requirements (EASA, GCAA, etc.).
Work Experience
- With a minimum of 5 years of experience in aircraft maintenance logistics, inventory management, or a related role within the aviation industry.
