Role & Responsibilities

Inventory Management:

• Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing goods.
• Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular stock checks.
• Inform Purchase team for replenishment to avoid stockouts or excess inventory.
• Ensure proper storage and organization of products to optimize space and accessibility.
• Implement inventory control measures to prevent theft, damage, or loss.

Receiving and Inspection:

• Receive incoming shipments and verify their quantity and quality.
• Inspect goods for damages, defects, or discrepancies.
• Update inventory records and reconcile with purchase orders.
• Report any issues or discrepancies to the appropriate department.

Distribution and Fulfilment:

• Coordinate with other appropriate departments to fulfil inventory requests.
• Prepare and package goods for delivery or pickup.
• Ensure accurate documentation and tracking of outgoing shipments.
• Arrange transportation logistics for efficient distribution.

Recordkeeping and Reporting:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inventory transactions.
• Generate reports on inventory levels, stock movement, and other relevant metrics.

Safety and Compliance:

• Adhere to safety protocols and ensure a clean and organized working environment.
• Comply with relevant regulations and company policies regarding inventory management.
• Dispose of damaged or expired goods in accordance with proper procedures.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Applicants should preferably be graduates aged below 30 years with 2 - 5 years of work experience in the Stores function of an engineering company. They should have good knowledge of Excel.
