Job description

About the Role:

We are seeking a Storekeeper with a minimum of 3 years of experience managing inventory in an AV equipment rental company. The role requires in-depth knowledge of audio-visual equipment used in live events, proficiency in inventory management tools, and strong communication skills in English and Hindi.

The ideal candidate is physically fit, well-organized, and capable of ensuring equipment readiness, smooth dispatch, and accurate stock management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and manage inventory of AV rental equipment:
    • Audio systems - Mixers, speakers, microphones, amplifiers
    • Lighting - Moving heads, LED pars, DMX controllers
    • Staging & trussing - Trusses, decks, scaffolding
    • LED & video equipment - Panels, processors, media servers, cabling
    • Special effects - Fog machines, lasers, pyrotechnics
  • Conduct routine and annual stock audits; report missing or damaged equipment.
  • Tag, test, and store equipment following company procedures.
  • Coordinate dispatch and returns with operations and logistics teams.
  • Assemble and verify event kits before dispatch.
  • Record data accurately in inventory management tools (e.g., Rentman, Flex).
  • Generate reports on inventory status, damages, and maintenance needs.
  • Communicate stock levels and part availability with department heads

Requirements

Qualifications & Skills:

  • 3+ years of experience as a storekeeper or warehouse assistant in AV or event rentals.
  • Technical knowledge of event AV equipment.
  • Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets and inventory systems.
  • Able to operate forklifts or pallet jacks (certification is a plus).
  • Physically fit - able to lift equipment up to 25kg.
  • Fluent in English and Hindi - both spoken and written.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management
  • Preferred (Not Mandatory): Basic knowledge of equipment maintenance or minor repair

Work Conditions:

  • Warehouse environment; may involve dust and occasional lifting.
  • Flexible working hours during peak event seasons (overtime/weekends possible)

  • Salary: AED 3,000 - 3,500 (based on experience and equipment knowledge)
