Job description

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Store Keeper to manage the daily operations of our warehouse. The role involves receiving and dispatching goods, maintaining inventory accuracy, ensuring warehouse cleanliness, and overseeing proper documentation and safety procedures. The Store Keeper will be accountable for the custody of stock, handling discrepancies, and ensuring the smooth flow of materials through the warehouse.

Responsibilities:

  • Receive and dispatch goods accurately
  • Handle and stack stock properly
  • Maintain cleanliness and order in the warehouse
  • Ensure custody and accountability for all stocks
  • Monitor pest control and oversee waste disposal
  • Verify incoming shipments against documentation and inspect goods
  • Maintain proper documentation and records
  • Report damaged and near-expiry stocks
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports
  • Maintain cycle count accuracy
  • Plan and schedule timely delivery of materials
  • Ensure smooth material flow and implement FIFO practices
  • Control, monitor, and improve warehouse operations
  • Safely store and manage received goods and deliveries
  • Keep the store organized, clean, and ensure safety and security


Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in a relevant field
  • 2–3 years of experience in store keeping
  • Proficiency in Advanced MS Office
  • Excellent communication skills in English (oral and written)
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work in a multicultural environment
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to complete tasks within set deadlines
  • Solid understanding of warehouse store keeping
