Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Storekeeper to manage the day-to-day operations of our store or warehouse. The Storekeeper is responsible for receiving, storing, issuing, and maintaining inventory records of materials, tools, equipment, and supplies. This role is crucial in ensuring that stock levels are properly maintained and inventory is accurate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive, inspect, and properly store incoming materials and supplies.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using manual logs or inventory management software.
  • Issue materials and supplies as requested, ensuring proper documentation.
  • Monitor stock levels and initiate reorders as necessary to prevent shortages.
  • Organize and maintain the store layout to optimize space and ensure easy access to items.
  • Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile with system records.
  • Ensure proper labeling, tagging, and storage of items for easy identification.
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the store or warehouse.
  • Prepare reports on stock status, discrepancies, or damaged items.
  • Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and other departments as needed.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications:
