Job summary

GULBAHAR invites applications for a Storekeeper at our Jebel Ali Free Zone facility in Dubai. You will manage inventory, process postings, receipts, distribution, and maintain accurate records to support maintenance teams.

Ideal candidates have 2 years in storekeeping, familiarity with electrical spare parts, SAP and MS Office, and strong organizational skills. This role requires on-site work and attention to stock levels and warehouse hygiene.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in storekeeping or similar role.

Responsibilities

About The Job

We are seeking a responsible and organized Storekeeper to manage inventory, will be responsible for general and department-specific, routine, daily store activities, including processing postings, supplies receipt and distribution, carry out inventories and inventory control activities and record keeping.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for the receiving and issuing of spare parts, tools, equipment, etc.
• Ensures that records and regularly updated and properly maintained.
• Maintain the right amount and level of stock.
• Maintain the store aging system with their expiry and early requirements.
• Maintaining the highest level of visual merchandising and store conditions.
• Provided outstanding support and management within parts inventory.
• Maintained parts inventory, records, ordered parts for technicians work orders, tagged warranty parts and sold parts to customers.
• Developed, implemented and maintained a system of inventory control & monitor accuracy.
• Being a Storekeeper checks materials and supplies and reports when stock is low.
• Receives and unpacks materials and supplies.
• Storekeeper reports damages and discrepancies for accounting, reimbursement and record-keeping purposes.
• Worked closely with technical team to ensure all requirements are met.
• Receipt stock and keep records of daily orders accurately to ensure proper inventory levels.
• Forecast goals and objectives for the department and strive to meet them.
• Maintain Department policy and procedure including purchase orders, inventory guide figures and order codes.
• Arrange parts for technicians as and when needed.
• Maintain well hygiene and follow the proper spare parts keeping system for better arrangement and fast service delivery.
• To assist the store in charge in all store related activities.
• Perform other tasks and accountabilities as assigned by the Store in charge.

Qualifications & Experience

• 2 years of experience in the Same field as a Store Keeper.
• Knowledge of basic knowledge about Electrical Maintenance spare parts and Tools is required.
• Prior experience working in general maintenance, Spare Arrangement and Inventory.
• Diploma in Electrical or Maintenance Engineering/ High school diploma or equivalent in related field is required.
• Proficiency in SAP systems and Microsoft Office applications is required.
