A leading company in IT solutions seeks a dedicated Storekeeper to manage inventory and shipments of office-related supplies. This role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to work collaboratively across departments, and experience in inventory management. Candidates must have a high school diploma and familiarity with inventory software is preferred.
The Storekeeper will be responsible for overseeing the receiving, storing, issuing, and safeguarding of office and IT-related equipment and supplies. You will track incoming and outgoing inventory, inspect goods for quality and quantity upon delivery, and update stock records in coordination with the procurement and IT departments.
You will also handle regular inventory checks, identify stock shortages or damages, and report discrepancies to the concerned team. Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the storage area, while ensuring compliance with safety regulations, is also a key responsibility.
To be successful in this role, candidates should have a minimum of a high school diploma with prior experience in warehouse or inventory management, preferably in a tech-related environment. Familiarity with inventory management software, basic computer proficiency, and strong numerical and organizational skills are essential.
The ideal candidate should be physically fit, dependable, and capable of handling items with care and precision. Good communication skills and the ability to coordinate effectively with multiple departments will further support success in this role.
