The storekeeper is responsible for the day-to-day operations of material receipt, issue, control, and record on site as per related procedures.
Recording the received/purchased items from the Purchasing Department.
Preparing the Cumulative Monthly Stock Balance Report containing the supplied and remaining quantities of each material, as per Company Accounts Codes and Works Items for construction materials, tools, consumables.
Keeping Delivery Notes, Invoices, SRTs, MRRS, and L.C.s copies for the duration of the project and as required by PM.
Recording itemized deliveries in the Material Stock Card as per Company Accounts Codes and Works Items, separately for construction supplies.
Recording and signing the daily issued materials registers and Cumulative Monthly Stock Balance.
Ensuring that the specified/approved delivered materials are properly labeled, with production and expiry dates and shelf life clearly mentioned, and that technical literature is available.
Controlling excess and unusable materials during the whole project’s period, storing them in a suitable location ready to be inspected, and proceeding with related stock control periodically.
Mandatory Requirements:
Qualified candidates with 8+ years of experience in construction projects, preferably building/villa projects.
