Storekeeper Job Description

Location: Ajman, United Arab Emirates

Responsibilities:
  1. Receive and reconcile all incoming and outgoing materials with purchase orders.
  2. Track, document, and resolve discrepancies in received orders.
  3. Maintain accuracy of inventory records, including physical totals, receipts, adjustments, and returns.
  4. Manage inventory levels to ensure they stay within established minimum and maximum thresholds.
  5. Keep up-to-date records of stock receipts, withdrawals, and stockroom activities.
  6. Handle packing, pricing, labeling, and returning supplies.
  7. Ensure proper stock rotation and coordinate disposal of surpluses.
  8. Oversee freight handling, equipment movement, and minor repairs.
  9. Manage supplier relations and maintain ethical relationships internally and externally.
  10. Create purchase orders and perform low-value procurement using purchasing cards.
  11. Coordinate the return of damaged or canceled items to suppliers.
