Job Summary

We are looking for a creative individual with demonstrable visual design skills across a strong retail merchandising portfolio. The incumbent will monitor VM compliance and understand customers’ behavior/reaction to the current display and help optimize for better outcomes in terms of customer engagement and store profitability.

Job Description

1. Update & Maintain SIS (Shop in Shop) merchandising data (products on display) for ezInsights dashboard.
2. Uploading the data of SKU inside an SIS on RetailNext (Video Analytics) cameras which involves drawing the display area manually on the camera’s /planogram.
3. To check the accuracy of the weekly scanned data received and to ensure that it is collected as per the deadline. Follow-up with the stores to ensure minimum error and complete coverage.
4. Oversee the adherence of SOP (brandbox movement & weekly Brandbox scanning) and brief others on the same.
5. Auditing the RetailNext cameras to check the accuracy of camera as per schedule.
6. Co-ordinating with the branding, project, installation & RetailNext teams to ensure that the cameras are placed/installed in such a way that they cover the required area.
7. Co-ordinating with the teams to ensure the status of camera installations/removals.
8. Co-ordinating with the installation & IT team to ensure the connectivity of these cameras and to help troubleshoot when required.
9. Checking on the cameras to ensure that all cameras are always online.
10. Training the store team to understand the data and help them with their data issues.
11. Co-ordinating with in-store staff to train them as per the SOP and ensure that the scans received are accurate.
12. Providing data to the internal teams updated with the SKUs on display and relevant details including fixture level data.
13. Study & analyze the data to suggest ideas and actions to the category heads/brands for improving brandbox performance.
14. Finding ways to make the data collection process structured and more accurate.
15. Measure the effectiveness of the change/action taken in terms of display, promoter, traffic & stock.
16. Updating and maintaining the fixture coding for all stores.
17. Providing the stores with barcodes / fixture IDs.
18. Handling traffic camera issues.
19. If required, random audits can be conducted in stores to check the accuracy of scan data.
20. Arranging latest layouts of the stores and mapping these changes in the system.
21. Configuring any fixture movements/changes in the store to the RetailNext platform.

For ESL / Space Profitability

1. Leading a team of Visual Compliance Executives who will do the complete scanning of all stores and collect data as per requirement.
2. Training the team as per the SOP to ensure that the data collection happens smoothly, timely and accurately.
3. Ensure that the data scanned by the team is complete and no linear meter/ESL is missed out.
