Job summary

Confidential in the UAE is hiring a Store Assistant to support merchandise handling, shelf setup, stock movement, and customer assistance to maintain an orderly retail environment. You will receive merchandise, arrange displays, restock items, help customers find products, check labels, and keep areas clean and safe.

Freshers welcome; basic English preferred; UAE retail experience is a plus. This role offers practical training and daily teamwork in a fast-paced shop.

Qualifications

• High school certificate or equivalent preferred.
• Freshers are welcome to apply.
• Basic understanding of stock handling and product organization.
• UAE retail experience will be an added advantage.
• Basic English knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive merchandise and assist with unloading and checking delivered items.
• Arrange products on shelves, displays, and designated storage areas.
• Replenish items when stock on the sales floor becomes low.
• Assist customers in locating products and provide basic information when required.
• Check product labels, quantities, packaging, and visible condition.
• Support stock counting and assist with inventory checks.
• Move goods between the storage area and retail floor as instructed.
• Keep shelves, displays, and storage sections neat and properly arranged.
• Assist with price tagging, product labeling, and promotional displays.
• Report damaged, missing, or incorrectly delivered items to the responsible supervisor.
• Help prepare customer orders, collections, or deliveries when required.
• Maintain cleanliness and safe working conditions within assigned areas.
• Follow store procedures for handling merchandise and equipment.
