About The Role

  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by supervising, monitoring, and evaluating the quality and effectiveness of service provided by pharmacy staff.
  • Ensure accuracy in dispensing all medications, including controlled medications and insurance prescriptions.
  • Follow insurance protocols, ensure prompt documentation, communication, and follow-up.
  • Handle staffing issues such as interviewing potential staff, conducting appraisals and performance reviews, organizing daily duty rotas, handling complaints and grievances, and providing or organizing staff training and development.
  • Identify current and future customer requirements by establishing rapport with customers and other stakeholders, and enhance relationships to maximize sales and margins.
  • Implement effective sales and marketing strategies related to all product ranges, collaborating with vendors and manufacturers to create effective marketing displays.
  • Achieve all targets and drive business initiatives to a high standard.
  • Participate in projects involving industry organizations, supply chain initiatives, and other special projects.
  • Organize store promotions, displays, and events.
  • Update the Area Manager on business performance, new initiatives, and other relevant issues.
  • Develop strategies to increase customer base, store traffic, and profitability.
  • Prepare annual budgets, schedule expenditures, analyze variances, and initiate corrective actions.
  • Analyze sales data, forecast future sales, and interpret trends for planning purposes.
  • Maintain contact with vendors and shippers.
  • Manage daily store activities, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain store reputation by complying with legal requirements, including licensing and staff certifications.
  • Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards.

Self-Management

  • Set performance goals at the beginning of the year in discussion with the manager and ensure achievement throughout the year.
  • Take ownership of personal learning by identifying development needs and creating an individual development plan.
  • Stay informed about professional developments, new techniques, and current issues through continuous education and growth.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy.
  • License from DHA/MOH/DOH.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a registered pharmacist and Store Manager in the UAE.
  • Strong communication skills in English or Arabic.
