Store Manager | MAF Lifestyle | Operations

ROLE SUMMARY

The Store Manager is accountable for achieving sales targets, managing and developing store teams to maximize profitability, maintaining brand and company image, ensuring operational compliance, and delivering excellent customer experiences. This role oversees the daily operations of the store and workforce in line with overall business objectives.

ROLE PROFILE

  1. Ensure the highest levels of customer service at all times. Address customer complaints professionally and efficiently. Coach and mentor staff to improve service quality.
  2. Assess team performance regularly to enhance skills and capabilities.
  3. Drive sales and business growth by meeting KPIs such as net sales, footfall, conversion rates, shrinkage, and stock turnover. Develop innovative strategies to attract new customers, increase store traffic, and improve profitability.
  4. Identify causes of underperformance and implement action plans through analysis and commercial awareness. Provide feedback to the Operations, Buying, and Planning Departments regarding product range and pricing.
  5. Ensure compliance with Model Store Standards related to Visual Merchandising (VM). Maintain team understanding of VM principles and standards. Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
  6. Plan and execute in-store processes including cash handling, stock management, and stock-taking. Control inventory levels and security to minimize shortages.
  7. Adhere to all Health & Safety, Security, and Compliance policies. Report concerns promptly to the relevant teams.
  8. Regularly review in-store duties such as cleaning, pre-opening checks, and inspections.

  • Minimum of 4-5 years of industry experience
