Overview of the role :

The Store Manager is responsible for sales performance, focusing on growth and profitability, customer satisfaction, merchandising standards, store operations, and staff training and development.

Key Responsibilities :

1. People Development / HR

• Support recruiting, hiring, developing, and retaining high-quality management and staff to fill store roles and ensure succession planning.
• Lead by example; train, develop, and provide ongoing feedback on product knowledge, selling skills, visual merchandising, and customer service.
• Organize weekly staff meetings and daily briefings to review store performance, communicate goals, strategies, procedures, and targets.

Customer Experience / Sales

• Ensure excellent customer service at all times through regular assessment, coaching, and follow-up.
• Maintain visibility on the sales floor, answering customer questions and supporting sales activities.
• Implement visual merchandising standards, promotions, and maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and stockroom.

Drive Sales & Profitability

• Meet or exceed sales, payroll, shrinkage, and conversion targets.
• Develop and execute strategies to maximize sales and control expenses.

Operational Effectiveness

• Manage assets by adhering to loss prevention measures and inventory control.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and store procedures.

Skills and Qualifications :

• Extensive experience in Sales, Marketing, and Operations within the retail/brand management industry, especially in Fashion.
• Deep knowledge of market trends, brand positioning, and economic factors.
• Minimum of two years’ store management experience with a proven track record in sales, profit, and team development.
• Proficiency in business English, computer skills (Outlook, Excel, SAP), and report analysis.
• Strong numeracy and literacy skills; ability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods.
