Job Title: Inventory Management Specialist

Job Description

• Inventory Management:
  Maintain accurate records of all materials, tools, and equipment in the warehouse.
  Regularly monitor and check stock levels to ensure that materials are available for production and maintenance.
  Receive, inspect, and store raw materials, components, and finished goods in the warehouse, ensuring proper storage conditions for refrigeration materials.
• Stock Control:
  Update and maintain stock levels in the company’s inventory management system.
  Ensure proper labeling and categorization of products for easy retrieval and monitoring.
  Conduct regular stock audits to verify the accuracy of stock on hand and minimize discrepancies.
• Material Handling:
  Organize materials and equipment in the warehouse to facilitate easy access and to optimize space.
  Handle the safe and secure movement of goods, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
  Oversee the packing and shipping of parts to different locations, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
• Quality Control:
  Inspect incoming goods for damage or defects, and ensure proper handling during storage and transit.
  Work closely with the quality control team to ensure that all incoming materials meet required specifications and standards for refrigeration equipment.
• Record Keeping:
  Maintain accurate records of all stock movements, including receipts, issues, and returns.
  Prepare reports on stock levels, shortages, and product movements as required by management.
• Coordination and Communication:
  Coordinate with procurement and production teams to ensure materials are delivered on time and are in good condition.
  Communicate with suppliers and vendors regarding material orders and delivery schedules.
• Equipment and Tool Management:
  Maintain records of tools and equipment used in the refrigeration industry and ensure they are stored securely.
  Track and monitor the maintenance and servicing schedule for equipment.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. A degree or certification in supply chain management, logistics, or warehouse management is a plus.
• Experience: Minimum 4-6 years of experience in warehouse or inventory management, preferably in the refrigeration, HVAC, or manufacturing industry.
• Technical Skills:
  Proficiency in using inventory management software and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word).
  Knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics.
  Familiarity with refrigeration industry materials and equipment is an advantage.
