The Store keeper plays a crucial role by managing inventory and ensuring that materials are available for ongoing projects This position requires a detailoriented individual who can efficiently handle the storage and issuing materials while maintaining accurate records The Store Keeper will collaborate closely with project managers and site supervisors to ensure that all materials are accounted for and delivered on time This role is essential for maintaining the workflow of construction projects and ensuring that deadlines are met Responsibilities Oversee the receipt storage and distribution of materials and supplies Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular stock Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials Prepare reports on inventory levels and material usage for project managers Implement and maintain safety protocols for storage areas Ensure that all materials are stored in accordance with company policies and regulations Train and supervise junior store staff as needed Resolve any discrepancies in inventory counts and address issues promptly Maintain a clean and organized storage environment Preferred Candidate Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work independently and as part of a team Proficient in inventory management software Strong problemsolving skills and ability to handle multiple tasks Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in storage management Experience in the civil engineering industry is a plus Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physical tasks Strong time management skills to meet project deadlines Willingness to adapt to changing project needs and priorities
