Job Description
Manage inventory by tracking stock levels, conducting regular audits, and ensuring timely replenishment to avoid shortages.
Receive and inspect incoming shipments, verifying the quality and quantity of goods against purchase orders to maintain accuracy.
Organize and maintain the storage area, ensuring that items are easily accessible and properly labeled for efficient retrieval.
Utilize inventory management software to update stock records in real time, ensuring data accuracy and availability for reporting.
Collaborate with procurement teams to forecast inventory needs based on sales trends and seasonal demand fluctuations.
Implement safety and cleanliness protocols in the storage area to comply with health regulations and prevent workplace hazards.
Generate regular reports on inventory status, including slow-moving items and potential stock discrepancies for management review.
Desired Candidate Profile
High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree in logistics or supply chain management is preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a storekeeping or warehouse role, demonstrating a solid understanding of inventory management.
Experience in retail, manufacturing, or distribution environments, allowing familiarity with diverse product categories.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent organizational skills, with a knack for systematizing processes and optimizing storage solutions.
Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken; proficiency in additional languages is an advantage.
A proactive attitude, demonstrating problem-solving capabilities and a willingness to take initiative in improving processes.
