Job summary

Etihad Airways in Abu Dhabi seeks a Storeman/Inspector to manage stock intake, inspections, and accurate documentation for day-to-day Tech Ops demands.

The role requires at least 3 years of airline/MRO experience, strong English communication, and a high school diploma or diploma qualification. You will ensure proper labeling, control of shelf life, and regulatory compliance in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience: 3+ years airline/MRO experience preferred.
• Must communicate perfectly in English.
• Education: High school leaving certificate or Diploma.

Responsibilities

• Accepts stock and issues materials, tooling and other products and updates inventory systems.
• Performs physical inspection and ensures documentation for delivered parts and materials.
• Checks for damages, shortages and improper materials and reports to supervisor.
• Receives materials back into stock and stores them in correct bin locations.
• Ensures all issued materials are correctly labelled.
• Monitors shelf life and calibration of tools and disposition of expired items.
• Completes shift handover log at end of shift.
• Inspects parts/materials for conformity with regulatory requirements (GCAA/EASA/MOE).
• Handles DGR and ESD parts/materials per regulatory and company requirements.
• Arranges and monitors part replenishment and related processes.

Synopsis

• The Storeman/Inspector reports to the Logistics Supervisor and ensures compliance to regulatory and company requirements.

Accountabilities

• Accepts stock and issues materials, components, tooling and other products and update of the respective parts inventory systems as per the respective processes defined in the TPM.
• Re-orders, performs physical inspection and completeness of documentation of delivered parts and materials required for the day-to-day tasks in the Tech Ops environment.
• Checks for damages, shortages and incorrect supplied materials and reports to the Logistics Supervisor.
• Receives acceptable materials/returns back into stock under consideration of the applicable related receiving goods procedures and stores them in correct bin locations.
• Ensures that all material / tooling issued from store and accepted into the store is correctly labelled.
• Regularly checks/updates on shelf life of materials and calibration of tools with the related disposition if time expired.
• Ensures that the shift handover log is completed at the end of each shift duty.
• Inspect parts/material for documents conforming in accordance with GCAA/EASA/MOE requirements.
• Handle DGR and ESD parts/material in accordance with regulatory and company requirements.
• Arranging FSK as per company requirements and monitoring for part replenishment.
• Arranging PFSC as per company requirements including outstation.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Experience: Strong AMOS background preferred with strong communication skills, minimum 3years of airline/ MRO experience preferred.
• Must be able to work nights and weekends, work under stress and be able to communicate perfectly in English.
• Education: High school leaving certificate /Diploma
