Job summary

Radisson Hotel Group is seeking a Stewarding Team Leader for Radisson Hotel Damac Hills in Dubai to supervise daily stewarding operations and maintain hygiene across kitchens and back-of-house spaces.

The role requires 1–2 years in stewarding, leadership ability, and knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment. You will train staff and coordinate with kitchen and F&B teams to ensure smooth service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in hotel stewarding or a similar hospitality role.
• Previous team leader experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of kitchen hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards.
• Familiarity with dishwashing machines, cleaning equipment, and chemical handling.
• Good leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced hotel environment.
• Physically fit and able to perform operational duties when required.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

We are currently seeking a Stewarding Team Leaderto join our vibrant team. At Radisson Hotel Damac Hills, we are in search of individuals who go beyond the resume – those with character, skills, talents, and a passion for creating memorable experiences.

To supervise the daily operations of the Stewarding Department, ensuring the cleanliness, sanitation, and proper maintenance of all kitchen equipment, utensils, and food production areas. The Stewarding Team Leader is responsible for leading the stewarding team, maintaining hygiene and safety standards, and ensuring smooth support for kitchen and food and beverage operations.

• Supervise daily stewarding operations, ensuring cleanliness and hygiene across kitchens, dishwashing areas, and back-of-house spaces.

Supervise stewarding colleagues to ensure efficient workflow and timely task completion.

Ensure the availability of clean crockery, cutlery, glassware, and kitchen equipment for daily operations at all outlets.

Monitor dishwashing machines and ensure proper handling and maintenance of equipment.

Ensure compliance with hotel hygiene, food safety, health, and safety standards.

Monitor the correct handling, dilution, storage, and usage of cleaning chemicals.

Conduct regular inspections of stewarding areas to maintain cleanliness and safety standards.

Monitor inventory, control breakages, and report shortages or damaged equipment.

Train and guide team members on cleaning procedures, equipment handling, and safety practices.

Ensure proper waste segregation and promote sustainable practices to minimise waste.

Coordinate with kitchen and F&B teams to support smooth daily operations and special events.

Report maintenance issues, accidents, and operational concerns to the Chief Steward.

Qualifications

Minimum 1–2 years of experience in hotel stewarding or a similar hospitality role.

Previous team leader experience is preferred.

Knowledge of kitchen hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards.

Familiarity with dishwashing machines, cleaning equipment, and chemical handling.
