Job description

This job opportunity is with a planned start date of 15th August

Specific Responsibilities:

  1. Reports to work on time and ready to work scheduled shift.
  2. Breaks machine down properly in order to thoroughly clean all parts.
  3. Changes water in machine and cleans all debris baskets once an hour.
  4. Keeps all chemicals full during service so machines are cleaning properly.
  5. Informs supervisors if low on soap products (solid power, solid brilliance, silver fusion).
  6. For the three-compartment sink, keeps the wash, rinse, and sanitizer tank water fresh, changing at least once an hour.
  7. Makes sure there are sanitizer test strips present.
  8. Keeps shelf above the sinks organized and dry.
  9. Takes out trash and recycling at specified times or when needed during service.
  10. Makes sure hand sinks are stocked with soap and hand towels throughout the workday.
  11. Maintains cleanliness and organization of both dish stations.
  12. Maintains an organized soil table so there is a proper landing spot for all dirty items.
  13. Keeps all soaking basins clean and fresh.
  14. Stores and organizes BOH space daily.
  15. Stores and organizes non-F&B orders.
  16. Removes boxes from receiving area and maintains slop sink in the back of the kitchen.
  17. Maintains cleanliness and organization of glass rack storage area.
  18. Performs all opening and closing duties as outlined by supervisors.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role, preferred.
  • Physically fit and able to stand for the duration of a shift.
  • Good level of fitness and ability to lift kitchen equipment.
  • Organizes time and work efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills - verbal and written.
  • Willingness to work weekends and public holidays if needed.
  • Initiates contacts and establishes rapport easily.
  • Has the aptitude and willingness to undertake further development.
