Job Responsibilities:

  1. Champion the Project Safety culture, behaviors, and engagement activities.
  2. Report to the PMC Engineering Manager and work under his direction.
  3. Identify, evaluate, and resolve Mechanical (Static Equipment) Engineering issues during the EPC phase.
  4. Review and approve EPC Contractor key deliverables within specified durations, ensuring compliance with design requirements and licensors’ PDPs, involving interpretation and review of calculations, specifications, plans, investigations, surveys, structures, systems, or equipment with relatively few complex features.
  5. Review and approve EPC Contractor’s deliverables such as equipment design, system design, testing materials, specifications, design calculations, drawings, data, engineering studies, reports, material requisitions, and quantity estimates.
  6. Review and approve key design documents from Vendors, equipment manufacturers, or Subcontractors, and prepare comments and recommendations.
  7. Attend technical meetings with Owner, Licensor, EPC Contractor, and Vendors.
  8. Participate in all Project technical sessions such as Design Review Meetings, 3D Model Review, Constructability, SIL, EIA, HAZOP, and HAZID.
  9. Ensure quality and accuracy of EPC Contractor’s Mechanical (Static Equipment) Engineering design activities, system integration, and design selection.
  10. Supervise and manage review and approval of EPC Contractor’s work, ensuring compliance with specifications, codes, standards, and industry best practices.
  11. Coordinate engineering participation in development and analysis of design options and business models for design optimization.
  12. Develop and update specifications for Control and Instrumentation & Telecommunications in line with Owner requirements.
  13. Coordinate participation of other discipline Engineers in reviews and workshops.
  14. Influence Facilities and Equipment design optimization.
  15. Provide technical assistance and coordination with other discipline Engineers.
  16. Coordinate technical reviews during vendor prequalification, bid, and performance evaluations.

Qualifications:

  • Decent experience in oil & gas (Upstream)
  • Offshore experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent from an accredited university with relevant experience
  • Experience in the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical Industry, including minimum years in GCC region
  • Experience in similar international Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects
  • PMC & ADNOC experience preferred
  • Gas Processing experience in FEED & EPC phases
