Job summary

We have an opportunity for Static Equipment Design Engineer
Role:
Static Equipment Design Engineer
Location - Dubai (UAE)
Experience: 4 to 8 Years
Industry: O&G, EPCM/PMC & FEED
Contract is for one year with possible
Schedule: 5 days a week, 8 hours a day

Responsible for:

  • Perform detailed design and calculation of static equipment, including pressure vessels, heat exchangers, air-cooled heat exchangers, and storage tanks. Ensure designs are compliant with applicable international codes (ASME Section VIII, API 650, TEMA, etc.) and project specifications.
  • Prepare and review technical documentation including data sheets, design calculations, and fabrication drawings.
  • Coordinate with other engineering disciplines, procurement teams, and vendors to align technical deliverables.
  • Provide support during design reviews, client meetings, and technical discussions.
  • Contribute to internal QA/QC processes by reviewing calculations and drawings for accuracy and compliance.
  • Support vendor technical bid evaluations and review vendor documents related to static equipment


Qualification & Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
  • 6–10 years of hands-on experience in the design of pressure vessels and static equipment in the oil & gas, petrochemical, or energy sector.
  • Proficient in ASME Section VIII, API 650, TEMA, API 661, and other relevant industry standards.
  • Skilled in design and analysis software such as PV Elite, Compress, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and FEA tools.
  • Familiar with fabrication and inspection practices related to static equipment. Strong communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus.
  • Team-oriented, detail-focused, and capable of working in a multicultural engineering environment
