AtkinsRalis is looking for a Stakeholder Manager (Rail Project in GCC). All positions are subject to Client's approval.

Job Overview

The Stakeholder Manager will be responsible for identifying and managing relationships with key stakeholders associated with the rail project during the Design & Build (D&B) phase. This role involves developing and implementing a stakeholder management plan, ensuring stakeholders have visibility and input into the project, and maintaining alignment with project objectives. The Stakeholder Manager will engage with government bodies, local authorities, environment agencies, local interest groups, and other stakeholders to ensure their needs and concerns are addressed.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  1. Identify key stakeholders, including clients, government bodies, local authorities, environment agencies, local interest groups, and other relevant parties.
  2. Develop and implement a stakeholder management plan, ensuring regular engagement and communication with stakeholders.
  3. Identify and mitigate stakeholder-related risks, providing advice on potential opportunities and threats.
  4. Provide regular progress reports to the client and internal stakeholders, highlighting any stakeholder-related risks and opportunities.
  5. Work closely with the required departments to ensure compliance with legal, financial, and corporate protocols.
  6. Drive progression via stakeholder meetings, ensuring all stakeholder concerns and requirements are addressed.

Qualifications and Educational Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Relations, Communications, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
  2. Professional certifications in stakeholder management or equivalent are highly desirable.

Knowledge and Experience:

  1. 10+ years of experience in stakeholder management, preferably in the construction or infrastructure sector.
  2. Deep knowledge of stakeholder management principles, public relations, and industry standards.
  3. Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
  4. Prior experience in transportation or rail projects involving multiple contractors is advantageous.

  1. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and mitigate stakeholder-related risks.
