Job Purpose

The Program Stakeholder and Interface Manager will oversee the entire Project Stakeholder and Interface Management system.

This is a PMC role, and there will be multiple Supervision Consultants and EPC`s appointed directly by the Client. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all stakeholder and interface management requirements on the large-scale power and water transmission projects in Abu Dhabi. This role involves managing technical and functional coordination between systems, disciplines, and multiple contractors. Also, stakeholder engagement, communication, oversight of regulatory compliance, as well as strategic planning, and collaboration with various stakeholders. Development and implementation of a program wide stakeholder and Interface Management plans and processes to effectively manage the project requirements .

Job Responsibilities

  • Identifies all project stakeholders and formulates engagement strategies to ensure all parties are kept up to date on project and program status.
  • Coordinate with project stakeholders, including clients, supervision consultants, contractors, vendors and regulatory authorities to ensure alignment and compliance with project requirements.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of project management plans, processes and procedures.
  • Reviews supervision consultant/contractors scheduled for authority approvals duration correctness
  • Provide leadership and direction to project teams, fostering a culture of awareness and continuous improvement.
  • Monitors project progress and team performance, implementing corrective actions as necessary to address any deviations from the project plans.
  • Prepare and present regular project stakeholder / interface reports to senior management and the client, detailing progress, challenges and solutions etc.
  • Guide and mentor project team members, promoting professional development and knowledge sharing.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients and other stakeholders to maintain project support and mitigate any concerns.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 10+ years of experience in projects, specifically in large power and water distribution programmes.
  • Proven experience in a similar role on programmes with a similar scope.

Technical Skills

  • In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
  • Must have in-depth knowledge of Abu Dhabi authorities approval requirements and processes.
  • Proficiency in project scheduling and resource management.

Soft Skills

  • Exceptional leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • A proactive approach to risk management and conflict resolution.
