Staff Nurse - Surgical Clinic

We are hiring a qualified Staff Nurse to join a surgical clinic team in the UAE.

This role focuses on providing preoperative and postoperative nursing care, ensuring patient safety and comfort while supporting the surgical team with clinical excellence.

Responsibilities

1. Prepare patients for surgical procedures and provide postoperative care.
2. Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and assist in recovery.
3. Maintain sterile environments and comply with infection control standards.
4. Assist physicians during minor surgical procedures and dressings.
5. Provide patient education and discharge instructions.
6. Document patient progress accurately in medical records.
7. Support in emergency care situations as needed.
8. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams for optimal patient care.
9. Ensure availability of equipment and supplies for procedures.
10. Uphold confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent qualification.
• Valid UAE nursing license or eligibility.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a surgical or outpatient clinical setting.
• Knowledge of surgical protocols and wound care.
• Excellent communication and clinical skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in high-pressure environments.
• Familiarity with EMR systems and clinic workflows.
