Job summary

Client of Dr Expat is seeking a Surgical Staff Nurse in Dubai to deliver high-quality pre- and post-operative nursing care. You will support surgeons, anesthetists and multidisciplinary teams throughout the patient journey, monitor recovery, educate patients and families, and ensure compliance with UAE healthcare regulations.

The role requires a nursing degree or diploma and at least 2 years in a surgical setting, with DHA eligibility or willingness to obtain licensure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Nursing
• Minimum 2 years of surgical ward or perioperative nursing experience
• Experience in post-operative care wound management and patient monitoring
• DHA Eligibility or willingness to complete the DHA licensing process
• Excellent clinical assessment communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-operative and post-operative nursing care
• Monitor patients following surgical procedures
• Perform wound care dressings and infection prevention measures
• Administer medications and monitor patient recovery
• Assess patients and promptly report changes in clinical condition
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation and patient records
• Educate patients and families regarding post-operative recovery
• Collaborate with surgeons anesthetists and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Follow international patient safety and infection control standards
• Participate in continuous professional development and quality improvement initiatives

Role Overview

Requirements

Salary amp Benefits

Salary AED 8 060 AED 18 000 per month depending on experience
