Qualifications

Take over a key role as a Staff Accountant in the Finance department and be a part of this exciting adventure of never-ending growth and success.

What we expect from you:
  • Ensure timely booking of all invoices & payments and keep financial records updated
  • Prepare and maintain general ledger entries and reconcile financial accounts
  • Support in month-end and year-end closing process
  • Analyze financial discrepancies and resolve issues promptly
  • Execute accounts payable functions, ensuring timely payments
  • Support in preparing and submitting VAT returns in compliance with UAE regulations
  • Collaborate with internal departments to support budgeting and forecasting activities
  • Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and data
  • Ensure accurate recording of fixed assets and prepare depreciation schedules
  • Review and validate expense reports for compliance with company policies
  • Conduct bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies
  • Contribute to the development of accounting policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency
  • Maintain proper filing systems for accounting records and documentation
  • Supporting line manager and department head with any ad-hoc reports or requirements
What we are looking for:
  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
    • Certifications are an added plus - ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CPA
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in financial management, reporting, and analysis
    • Proven track record of working in or with companies operating in the Middle East region
  • Knowledge:
    • Strong understanding of US GAAP, IFRS reporting standards, UAE/KSA tax regulations, and compliance
    • Understanding of the business environment, cultural nuances, regulatory landscape, and market dynamics in Middle Eastern countries
  • Skills:
    • Experience with reconciliations, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
    • Exceptional analytical skills with a high degree of attention to detail and accuracy
    • Proficient in Quickbooks, Zoho, Google Sheets, Power Bi and MS Excel
    • Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, multicultural environment
    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
    • High level understanding of accounting principles and tax regulations
  • Personality:
    • Self-driven, proactive, and strong team player with the ability to work independently when required
    • Strong focus on process improvement and continuous learning
