We are seeking a dynamic Sr Execution Planning PM to join our Global Energy, Sustainability, and Automation (GESA) Buildings Energy Technology team. The successful candidate will orchestrate the execution planning, communication, and tracking of sustainability initiatives, focusing on building decarbonization, energy systems, energy efficiency, and resource optimization (encompassing waste, water, and biodiversity) across our First Mile (CF), Middle Mile (ATS), and Last Mile (AMZL) business units in the AMET (Africa, Middle East, and Turkiye) region. The Sr PM will bridge the essential connection between business unit sustainability strategies and their implementation by Global Engineering Services Execution teams, while cultivating thought leadership and driving data transparency. This lead position combines expertise in technical construction engineering, program planning, project management, facilities operations, and contract administration. We seek candidates with demonstrated excellence in planning, design, and project management, plus hands-on experience managing sustainability requirements for both new construction and building retrofits, particularly in industrial or logistics environments. Prior experience in any capacity during an Amazon FC / SC / DS Launch is valuable.

Key job responsibilities
Program Strategy & Leadership :
- Maintain comprehensive program-level oversight while monitoring site-level progress, informing leadership decisions through clear analysis and recommendations on high-impact tradeoffs
- Liaising with the Project Management Office (PMO) for budget / labor planning, milestones reporting, and highlighting program-related risk
- Partner with cross-functional teams (Design and Construction, Global Sustainable Development, Asset Management, Finance, Construction Tech, Operations Sustainability) on due diligence evaluations and implementation
- Drive continuous improvement through knowledge sharing, lessons learned documentation, and team coaching on sustainability best practices
Technical Implementation & Engineering :
Oversee construction engineering, planning, and design for Sustainability inclusions into new buildings, including tracking carbon footprint, performing engineering calculations, and reviewing material / equipment specifications for energy efficiency and paybackLead implementation of renewable energy projects, including solar PV installations, Energy Storage Systems (ESS), and microgrids, from technical assessment through construction completionAssess facilities through surveys and audits to evaluate carbon impact of building designs, recommending energy efficiency improvements for mechanical systems and building envelopesPrepare technical documentation including reports, specifications, and analyses defining sustainability requirements, while establishing systems to track progress across New Build and Retrofit programsStakeholder Management & Commercial :
Serve as sustainability SME, managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders including contractors, designers, consultants, and permitting authoritiesNegotiate and manage Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), coordinating with stakeholders to ensure optimal technical and commercial outcomesBASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree7+ years of demonstrated experience in construction project management, real estate development, architecture / design with a Sustainability focus10+ years of program or project management experience3+ years of hands-on experience in construction management of renewable energy projectsExperience with sustainability-focused financial modeling and ROI analysisExperience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvementsExperience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadershipDemonstrated success in stakeholder management across organizational levels, with proven ability to deliver results independently in dynamic environments with shifting prioritiesStrong collaborative skills, demonstrating success in driving alignment on complex topics across large, cross-functional teams and initiativesPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
