Job Description

1. Analyze survey reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, aerial photography, and other topographical or geologic data to plan projects.
2. Prepare structural designs and drawings as per government and Otak standards.
3. Conduct design checks and validation of completed structural designs as part of QA/QC system and as required by clients or the project.
4. Respond to contractors’ queries and attend meetings with clients.
5. Prepare associated structural reports as required for the project.
6. Inspect project sites to monitor progress and ensure conformance to design specifications and safety or sanitation standards.
7. Direct construction, operations, and maintenance activities at project sites.
8. Prepare structural design calculations.
9. Review contractor’s shop drawings and design calculations.
10. Participate in surveying to lay out installations and establish reference points, grades, and elevations to guide construction.

Desired Candidate Profile

We are seeking a Senior Structural Engineer with a minimum of 10 years of experience, specifically in infrastructure projects at an engineering consultancy. Experience in bridge projects is essential. The candidate should have experience in the UAE and hold a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
