Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in quick-commerce, food delivery, e-commerce, or fast-paced tech startup.
• Strong experience in P&L analysis, financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and business impact modeling.
• Advanced proficiency with data querying and visualization tools (SQL, BigQuery, Looker), with ability to build dashboards using large data volumes.
• Proven track record of structuring complex problems, conducting deep analyses, and synthesizing data into actionable strategies.
• Expert-level skills in Excel/Google Sheets and PowerPoint/Google Slides; leveraging AI tools to automate workflows.
• Cross-functional collaboration to lead initiatives across multiple operational units.

Responsibilities

WHAT’S ON YOUR PLATE?

This role will drive high-impact strategic projects, uncover data-driven insights, and support key decision-making across the business. The scope will cover the following:

• Performance Analysis & Monitoring: Track talabat’s core performance metrics, diving into daily and weekly datasets to detect operational trends, flag anomalies, and highlight quick-win optimization opportunities.
• Dashboard & Tool Creation: Design, maintain, and automate interactive dashboards (Excel, Google Sheets, AI tools) to give stakeholders clear, real-time visibility into operational effectiveness and key business metrics.
• KPI Tracking & Reporting: Assist in tracking critical business indicators against targets, translating complex quantitative data into clear, structured reports and visual summaries for periodic business reviews.
• Deep Dives: Conduct granular regional and country-level analyses to map localized performance drivers, identify operational bottlenecks, and surface growth potential.
• Managerial Support & Strategic Insights: Partner closely with managers by synthesizing data to drive actionable, key insights across ongoing projects, directly supporting strategic decision-making and executive business reviews.
• Actionable Recommendations: Synthesize analytical deep dives into clear, data-backed insights to assist cross-functional teams in refining commercial, operational and vertical strategies.

• Industry Experience: 3–5 years of professional experience in quick-commerce, food delivery, e-commerce, or a fast-paced tech startup environment.
