We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Sr. Specialist - Construction to support the execution of our international development pipeline. In this role, you will collaborate closely with Franchisees, providing expert guidance throughout the design, procurement, and construction phases.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Management: Tracking timelines, forecasting progress, and ensuring projects are completed as planned.
2. Cost & Value Optimization: Monitoring capital costs, supporting value engineering, and driving cost efficiencies.
3. Quality & Standards: Ensuring all new restaurants meet our construction and design standards.
4. Systems & Processes: Managing project tracking software, maintaining databases, and supporting initiatives.

Additional Responsibilities

• Manage project schedules from design kickoff to restaurant opening, including franchisee projects.
• Perform on-site and virtual quality reviews, address non-compliance issues, and follow up until resolution.
• Monitor franchisee project budgets, support value engineering, and promote cost-saving measures.
• Support franchisees during design, construction, and post-construction phases, coordinating meetings and tracking milestones.
• Coach franchisees on Wendy’s design requirements, resources, and development processes, demonstrating strong customer service and time management skills.
• Assist with onboarding new markets, ensuring accurate information in systems.
• Develop and refine project management processes, tools, and best practices.
• Source and hire local consultants, suppliers, and contractors.
• Work with local authorities to secure permits and variances.
• Award contracts, review pay applications, and release payments.
• Review project schedules and budgets, and approve construction quality and brand compliance.
• Recommend suppliers for materials, furniture, and equipment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, or Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in F&B construction management programs.
• Knowledge of construction processes, project planning, budgeting, materials, codes, zoning laws, and contracts.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and management skills.
• International business experience.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Architecture or construction internship or work experience preferred.

Additional Details

• Travel requirement: 50%.
• Pay Range: AED 156,000 - AED 265,000 annually.
