Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT or equivalent.
• 6–8 years of professional software development experience.
• FinTech, digital wallet, payment, remittance or banking domain experience.
• Experience leading small technical streams or as a senior contributor.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services with C#, ASP.NET Core and Web API.
• Design microservices, REST/gRPC patterns, and API gateway usage.
• Optimize SQL Server performance and data models.
• Implement secured APIs with JWT/OAuth2 and encryption basics.
• Collaborate with frontend, QA, and business teams to deliver features.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Solution Engineer position with the below requirement and qualification. The position is based in Dubai, JLT.

Role and Responsibilities

• Strong C#, ASP.NET Core (.NET 6/7/8), Web API
• Hands-on microservices development using REST/gRPC and API Gateway patterns.
• Strong SQL Server skills (stored procedures, query tuning, indexing, and troubleshooting).
• Experience with EF Core, clean/layered architecture, and design patterns.
• Practical experience with RabbitMQ/MassTransit or similar message-based integration.
• Redis/distributed caching, Docker and Linux basics.
• Secure API development: JWT/OAuth2, encryption basics.
• FinTech, digital wallet, payment, remittance or banking domain experience.

Soft Skills

• Strong ownership and accountability for assigned features and production issues.
• Clear communication with developers, QA, business and support teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset; able to debug under pressure.
• Reviews code, supports junior developers, and follows engineering standards.

Nice to have

• Observability with Prometheus, Grafana, Jaeger/Open Telemetry.
• CI/CD experience using Azure DevOps
• Kubernetes, Azure cloud
