Job Description
The role will include onboarding new merchants for payments services and value-added services. This task requires a high level of relationship building, account management, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  1. Present to merchants, retailers, restaurants, hospitality/F&B sectors, and other entities in UAE, a complete end-to-end POS/E.Com solution for card acceptance by Geidea.
  2. Cross-sell value-added services that include POS hardware, On-POS loyalty programs, gift cards, EMI, billing, and other services offered by Geidea.
  3. Thrive to over-achieve individual targets monthly, quarterly & annually as set.
  4. Leverage prospect & sign up new merchants by presenting appropriate solutions for business.
  5. Knowledge of signing merchant contracts, documentation & submission processes.
  6. Provide training on Geidea Value Added Services the merchant has signed up for.
  7. Ability to negotiate with merchants on commission rates, POS rentals, and value-added services rates.

Requirements:

  1. Minimum 3-5 years experience within sales and marketing within UAE.
  2. Excellent network of contacts in the retail sector with some banking/merchant acquiring/fintech experience is an advantage.
  3. Ability to identify potential buyers for POS terminals & payment gateways.
  4. Must be detail-oriented, organized, analytical, and computer literate.
  5. Excellent interpersonal/relationship management skills and problem-solving ability.
  6. Strong verbal/written communication skills.
  7. Highly driven, self-motivated, target-oriented, resilient, and tenacious individual.
  8. Demonstrate a willingness to learn and grow.
  9. Highly organized, plans, and prioritizes work effectively.
  10. Must have a valid UAE driving license & vehicle.
