ARCO TURNKEY SOLUTIONS CONTRACTING LLC in Dubai seeks an experienced Quantity Surveyor/Contract Administrator to lead post‑contract commercial activities within our contracting teams. You will manage contract terms, cost control, variations, valuations and subcontract oversight across building projects.
Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering with 10–15+ years in construction, especially buildings/infrastructure, and knowledge of FIDIC, CostX, Candy, and MS
Interpret and administer contract terms and conditions Ensure compliance with contract requirements and company policies Handle contractual correspondence with clients consultants and subcontractors
Monitor project budgets and track costs against approved budgets Prepare cost reports forecasts and cash flow projections Identify cost risks and implement mitigation strategies
Evaluate negotiate and process variation orders Prepare and submit variation claims with proper documentation Assess subcontractor variation claims
Prepare interim valuations and payment applications Evaluate and certify subcontractor payments Track payments and ensure timely invoicing and collections
Prepare and manage contractual claims e g delays prolongation costs Support dispute resolution processes negotiation arbitration etc Maintain proper records to support claims
Administer subcontract agreements Monitor subcontractor performance and payments Finalize subcontract accounts
Prepare and agree on final accounts with clients and subcontractors Ensure closure of all financial and contractual matters
Maintain accurate project records costs contracts variations Generate regular commercial reports for management review
Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
10–15+ years in quantity surveying, preferably in post-contract roles.
Experience in construction sectors (e.g., buildings, infrastructure).
Strong knowledge of construction contracts (e.g., FIDIC).
Proficiency in cost management and commercial reporting.
Familiarity with QS software (e.g., CostX, Candy) and MS Excel.
