Job summary

S K OVERSEAS HR CONSULTANCY in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Lead QC Engineer to oversee Electrical & Instrumentation inspections and ensure compliance with project specifications and international standards. You will develop ITPs for pre-commissioning, commissioning, and operations, guiding the QC team toward excellence.

You will review vendor documentation, certifications and test reports, ensuring E&I components meet project requirements while promoting continuous improvement within the team in Oil

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
• QA/QC certification (ASNT Level II/III, PCN) or equivalent.
• Minimum 15 years of progressive QC experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Power.
• Skilled in interpreting drawings, P&IDs, single-line diagrams, and specs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute QC inspections for Electrical & Instrumentation systems.
• Develop and implement ITPs for E&I equipment and activities across pre-commissioning, commissioning and operations.
• Supervise junior QC inspectors and technicians, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.

Job Overview

Lead and execute comprehensive quality control inspections for Electrical and Instrumentation systems ensuring adherence to project specifications and international standards. Develop and implement detailed inspection and test plans (ITPs) for E&I equipment and activities covering pre‑commissioning, commissioning and operational phases. Supervise and guide junior QC inspectors and technicians, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the team. Review and approve vendor documentation, material certifications and test reports for E&I components verifying compliance with project requirements.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field, demonstrating a strong theoretical foundation. Certified QA/QC Engineer or Inspector, such as ASNT Level II/III, PCN, or equivalent, validating specialized inspection skills. Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in Quality Control for Electrical & Instrumentation within the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Power Generation industries. Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings, P&IDs, single‑line diagrams, and technical specifications relevant to E&I systems.

Eligibility Criteria

• Experience in Pipeline, Oil & Gas, EPC, Flowline, Wellhead, Brownfield, Upstream, Onshore.
• Gulf / ADNOC experience preferred.
• Gulf experience: a minimum of 5 years in the relevant field mandatory for managerial and SR positions.
• Maximum age limit is 49 years. For managerial positions, this may be extended up to 50 years if the candidate has significant Gulf experience.
• Candidates with Metro / Building / Road Infrastructure experience are not eligible.
