Role Overview

The Sr. Program Manager will craft strategies and plans for large-scale projects within Amazon Logistics for Saudi Arabia and the Heavy and Bulky (AMXL) network. We seek a highly skilled, motivated leader to drive innovative delivery solutions. This role offers an exciting opportunity to join a new team in a rapidly growing area within Amazon. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in program management, operations, and cross-functional leadership within large-scale strategic initiatives. They should influence without authority, create product/program visions, manage complex multi-technology/operations/business opportunities, and leverage data to drive process improvements and scalable solutions. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential to collaborate effectively with business operations and technical stakeholders, working independently in high-pressure environments and exercising sound judgment in ambiguous situations. The candidate must demonstrate proficiency in solving complex logistics problems, with a bias for action and long-term strategic thinking within the DSP space to meet Amazon Logistics' needs.

Key Job Responsibilities

1. Manage existing programs, successfully delivering challenging projects across multiple organizations.

4. Travel up to 25% to Saudi Arabia and other countries within Africa and the Middle East.
5. Own program communication to accelerate progress, make timely decisions, clear blockers, and escalate issues as needed.
6. Influence cross-functional projects impacting DSP programs and develop strategic plans collaboratively.
7. Identify opportunities to improve program quality and operational excellence.

Minimum Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in business strategy or non-technical program management.
• 5+ years of program or project management experience, with a track record of end-to-end delivery and reporting to senior leadership.
• Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.
• Bachelor's degree.
• 2+ years of experience in process improvement.
• Masters degree or MBA in business operations, human resources, organizational development, instructional design, or related fields.
• Arabic language proficiency.
