The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Middle Enterprise Account Manager based in Reading to further develop the Middle East territory.

You will be responsible for converting prospects into sales by differentiating from the competition and working with channel partners to build and grow a joint Proofpoint business. The role involves engaging with small and medium-sized enterprises up to CISO level, as well as technical staff within security and IT organizations.

This individual will also collaborate closely with the Sales Engineer team, partners, and leverage corporate resources within their account base.

The successful candidate will be results-oriented with excellent business acumen. They should have a proven ability to build a sales pipeline, accurately forecast, and close deals, demonstrating strong interpersonal and presentation skills.

  • Focus on hunting and developing new logo accounts (cross vertical) with up to 2,500 users.
  • Increase market share of Proofpoint products through outbound prospecting within an assigned region.
  • Plan, coordinate, and deliver web-based and onsite product demos.
  • Collaborate with Sales Engineers to develop account strategies and plans.
  • Partner with channel partners to drive revenue growth.
  • Identify and develop new Proofpoint accounts in the market.

What You Bring To The Team

  • Proven ability to build a sales pipeline, forecast accurately, and close deals, with strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate Proofpoint’s value.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and process-driven.
  • Ability to coordinate Proofpoint resources to execute complex sales strategies.
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM tools is a plus.
  • Successful inside sales experience in a related field.
  • Experience selling to IT departments and management is preferred.
  • Existing channel relationships and understanding of a 2-tier channel is advantageous.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work in a hybrid environment.
  • Fluent in Arabic and English; additional languages are a plus.
