Job summary

Talabat Holding in Dubai seeks a senior leader to drive Q-commerce performance and analytics across the region. You will analyze performance, build dashboards with the data team, and translate complex data into actionable insights for senior leadership.

You will own P&L budgeting and BE cycles, identify risks and opportunities, and lead AI-enabled improvements across operations while traveling across the MENA region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 8–10 years in quick-commerce, food delivery, e-commerce or high-growth tech.
• Strong understanding of Q-commerce economics and unit economics.
• Excellent financial modelling and budgeting skills.
• Comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders and cross-functional alignment.
• Willingness to travel across the MENA region.
• AI fluency and ability to apply AI tools to analytics workflows.

Responsibilities

• Track and analyze Q-commerce performance metrics across markets; identify trends and improvement areas.
• Build and maintain dashboards with the data team for real-time KPI visibility across the region.
• Prepare data-driven performance reviews for senior leadership.
• Conduct deep-dive market analyses to pinpoint turnaround opportunities and growth levers.
• Partner with market teams on budgeting, forecasting, and BE cycles; track P&L against targets.
• Lead end-to-end Q-commerce strategic initiatives and drive execution across markets.
• Travel regularly to markets to work with local teams on growth projects.
• Identify cross-functional process improvements to boost operational efficiency.

Q-Commerce Performance & Analytics

• Track and analyze Q-commerce performance metrics across all talabat markets - identifying trends, anomalies, and high-value improvement areas
• Build and maintain dashboards with data team that provide real-time visibility into Q-commerce KPIs across the region
• Prepare data-driven performance reviews for senior leadership, translating complex datasets into clear, actionable insights
• Conduct deep-dive analysis on specific markets to pinpoint turnaround opportunities, growth levers, and profitability improvements

P&L Management

• Partner with market teams on Q-commerce budgeting, forecasting, and Best Estimate (BE) cycles
• Proactively identify risks and opportunities to exceed financial targets across Q-commerce verticals
• Track P&L performance against targets and surface corrective actions when needed

Special Projects & Execution

• Lead end-to-end Q-commerce strategic initiatives across markets - from scoping through to delivery
• Travel regularly to markets to work alongside local teams on turnaround and growth projects
• Develop business cases for new Q-commerce products and initiatives; drive alignment with leadership and oversee execution
• Identify cross-functional process improvements that enhance Q-commerce operational efficiency

Innovation & AI

• Identify and drive AI and automation opportunities within Q-commerce operations
• Work with regional and market teams to test, scale, and embed new tools and ways of working
• Actively leverage AI tools to enhance analytical workflows and accelerate execution

What did we order?

• Education: Bachelor's degree from a top-tier institution in Business, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• 8-10 years of experience in quick-commerce, food delivery, e-commerce, management consulting, or high-growth tech
• Deep understanding of Q-commerce economics - unit economics, basket size, delivery efficiency, assortment strategy
