JOB TITLE

Senior Manager - Pricing (FMCG) | MAF Retail | Head Office UAE

ROLE SUMMARY

The Senior Manager Pricing Promotion is responsible for developing and leading pricing strategy and processes for all MAFR operating countries. The role holder is also responsible for managing the pricing team and developing processes and procedures for the function.

ROLE PROFILE

• Determine the feasibility and the optimal pricing for new products, thus working closely with the sourcing team.
• Monitor and analyse the sections/department profitability for every pricing strategy (different zones or clusters).
• Monitor pricing to ensure the objectives are achieved, analyse financial impact of price approach in view of overall history and take corrective measures.
• Supporting and guiding other MAF Retail countries about pricing processes and strategies.
• Guiding MAF Retail UAE management with new Pricing strategies and tactics in order to continue pricing leadership in UAE market.
• Supporting and preform as a mediator between consultant company (Mc Kinsey), MAF Holding and Carrefour UAE Head Office on topics related to pricing and related subjects.
• Managing promotion pricing and to give recommendations about final leaflet prices and promo tactics to all merchandise teams.
• Define direct competitors of each store and communicate a clear schedule of the pricing survey.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor Degree in Commerce, Finance or Marketing.
• 10+ year experience in Retail and Pricing.
• Arabic (Limited working proficiency - Preferred).
• English (Full professional proficiency - Required) Country Language where applicable.
• Good Communication and Presentation Skills.
• Computer proficiency: - MS Office.
