Job summary

Majid Al Futtaim seeks a Senior Manager - FMCG Pricing in Dubai to design pricing frameworks across markets, drive margin performance, and enhance customer value through data-driven pricing actions for new products and campaigns.

You will lead the pricing team, collaborate with sourcing, merchandising, finance and country management, and translate market intelligence into practical pricing strategies, governance, and robust pricing tools.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
Experience in retail pricing, FMCG commercial management, or category management.
Proven ability to analyse sales, margins and pricing performance.
Experience leading pricing professionals or analytics teams.

Responsibilities

Develop and lead pricing strategies for Majid Al Futtaim Retail operations across multiple countries.
Establish pricing policies, governance standards, workflows, and operating procedures for the pricing function.
Manage and develop the pricing team by setting objectives, assigning priorities, reviewing performance, and strengthening technical capability.
Assess the commercial feasibility and optimal retail price of new products in coordination with sourcing and merchandise teams.
Evaluate product cost, target margin, customer demand, competitor activity, price elasticity, and market positioning before recommending prices.
Monitor profitability by section, department, category, pricing zone, and store cluster.
Analyse the financial effect of pricing strategies using historical sales, volume, margin, basket, and transaction data.
