Job description

One of our prestigious clients is looking for Senior Hardware Technician / Hardware Engineer for the Abu Dhabi location.

The Senior Hardware Technician / Hardware Engineer is responsible for the end-to-end hardware lifecycle in project implementations—from identifying and testing components to on-site installation, integration, troubleshooting, and maintenance. This role acts as a key liaison between the software, procurement, and project teams to ensure seamless compatibility, performance, and client satisfaction of hardware systems.

Key Responsibilities :

Hardware Planning & Procurement Coordination

Support identification of hardware components required for project implementation in coordination with the Software team.

Communicate hardware requirements to the Engagement Manager for procurement planning.

Liaise with Procurement Specialists to support sourcing, logistics, and timely delivery of hardware.

Hardware Testing & Quality Control

Test and evaluate all received hardware components to verify accuracy, compatibility, and quality.

Collaborate with the Software team to conduct joint product simulations and resolve any technical discrepancies.

Perform hardware installation and configuration at client or project sites.

Participate in on-site simulations, unit testing, bug testing, and integration testing alongside the Software team.

Troubleshoot and resolve hardware-related issues throughout the implementation phase.

Training & Technical Support

Conduct technical training sessions for local partners and client representatives on newly installed hardware systems.

Provide post-installation support, including routine maintenance and issue resolution in coordination with local support teams.

Maintenance & Product Optimization

Carry out ongoing maintenance activities to ensure sustained hardware performance.

Document and implement necessary hardware modifications based on customer feedback and evolving requirements.

Maintain detailed records of installations, configurations, issues, and resolutions.

Other Duties

Perform any additional related tasks as requested by the direct supervisor or project leadership.
