Job Description

• Develop detailed cost estimates for mechanical systems, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project specifications and timelines.
• Analyze blueprints and technical drawings to identify key components and potential cost-saving opportunities.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to refine estimates based on scope changes and project developments.
• Prepare and present comprehensive bid proposals, highlighting key factors that influence cost and project feasibility.
• Conduct market research to assess material costs and availability, ensuring competitive and fair pricing.
• Utilize advanced estimation software and tools to streamline the estimation process and enhance accuracy.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field, with a strong foundation in thermodynamics and fluid mechanics.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical estimation, preferably within construction or manufacturing sectors.
• Certification in cost estimation or project management (e.g., AACE, PMP) is highly desirable.
• Proficient in estimation software such as Bluebeam, AutoCAD, or similar tools to enhance estimation accuracy.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex technical documents and specifications.
• Fluent in English, with additional language skills (e.g., Arabic, Spanish) as a plus for international projects.
